Penn State with a 3 at the buzzer to beat VCU.  I'm doing terrible so far this week.

George Mason-Maryland has been canceled.  I'll pick Marquette and Rhode Island tonight.  ESPN's schedule says Rhode Island-BC is also canceled, but I can't find any confirmation of that so I'm assuming it's still on.

Last night's Wazzu-Colorado game was canceled, as is today's Nevada-San Francisco.  My picks for the rest of today:

Seton Hall @ Penn State
Villanova @ Texas
Missouri @ Wichita State
Xavier @ Cincinnati
UCF @ Michigan
Oklahoma @ TCU
West Virginia @ Georgetown
Kentucky @ Georgia Tech   This won't be pretty.  Tech is really awful this year.
DePaul @ Iowa State
California @ UCLA

DePaul-Iowa State is also off.

And Kentucky trails Georgia Tech (a truly awful team that has lost to Georgia State and Mercer already) by 7 at the half.

FINAL: Georgia Tech 79, Kentucky 62.

Is it time for Kentucky to think about parting ways with Calipari?

I don't know. Calipari's teams always struggle early because they have so many one-and-done players.

It's just, this is a very bad year for losses to Georgia Tech and Richmond (the latter of which probably makes the NCAA tournament, if they actually end up at 68 teams.)

Is that supposed to be an insult aimed at me, Sprouts?

I just think GM posted this to see what you would say since Calipari is one of the most consistently successful coaches in March and has nearly $100 million left on his deal so he is so certainly not losing his job. You tend to want to chase coaches out of town at the first sign of trouble, which is both a typical professional sports thing and a typical New Yorker thing that so rarely applies in college.

Yeah, well if you read my post on the issue, you'd find that I think this is normal for Calipari. He isn't going anywhere unless he starts losing a bunch of SEC games (and I don't think that'll happen.)

I wasn't trolling NYE specifically, but the post was indeed inspired by all the Kentucky fans who call for Cal's scalp at the first sign of trouble.  I haven't looked at any UK fan boards yet, but I expect they're looking pretty brutal right now.

And reupping:
1. You have 45 32 games this week.  That's a lot, and starting from Monday leaves little time to get picks in.  I suggest that in future weeks, you limit it to 25 games (same as the football pick'ems) and skip the early part of the week.  That is, start selecting games for the upcoming week from the upcoming Sunday and work backward through the week until you have 25.

2. That format makes for some very long posts.  How about using a more compact listing
