Simple, it shows how many members of each party was in the Senate at that time. The partisan make-up is from the beginning of that Senate and does not include resignations and party changes after the start of the session. The abbreviations are standard from the Wiki.

How did you categorize the parties, particularly the CDP and CUP?  Or did you base it more on the individuals themselves who served in the Senate as opposed to the parties they were affiliated with?

Individuals mostly, I've been around Atlasia long enough to know whether the person was left, right or centre when he was in the Senate and his subsequent actions and political beliefs in Atlasia.

No idea and I've not checked. But I note that the Wiki counts me as a member of the SLA (at least it did yesterday).

I probably did count you as SLA on second thought.

So what did you categorize I as?

Dave 'Hawk'

Left, since I always considered your voting positions to be rather leftist especially in the Senates that you were in, which were less focused on social issues than the current one is.

I may do that later tonight.

Also another fun fact, the 23rd Senate will have the highest amount of members from a single party, the NLC, since the 8th Senate, which gave 5 seats to the CUP making it the last time the Senate had a majority party.
