No disrespect to the current Southern flag, but we as a region should have a symbol of unity and strength that brings us together. The flag I'm proposing has a century and a half of history to its name, and has come to be a universally recognized banner of the Southern people.
A nation of secessionist Fire Eaters, who fought a war about slavery, guising it, as states’ rights, is not honorable. The South deserved to lose, and quite frankly, Reconstruction should been allowed to be fully completed. If the South actually passes a bill honoring the work of people like Preston Brooks, Robert Rhett, David Yulee, Jefferson Davis, and John Breckinridge, all truly evil slaveholding secessionists, it would be a sad day for Atlasia
As a Atlasian Representative, Mr. MB, should have known not to introduce, such a bill. I hope that the South unanimously rejects this racist legislation.
