CNN and CNNInternational

I just wanted to catch up on the newest news via CNNInternational's YouTube channels, and guess what I had to read:

CNNInternational has been terminated because we received multiple third-party claims of copyright infringement regarding material the user posted.

Of course, I wanted to see who's behind the copyright claims, so I clicked on a video by CNNInternational which I had favorited, and lo and behold:

This video is no longer available because the YouTube account associated with this video has been terminated due to multiple third-party notifications of copyright infringement from claimants including:

    Aurality
    Robert wilkinson
    Rui Pedro Fernandes Brito

Is that a glitch, a hack or just a misapprehension?

Is it even possible to suspend such big YT channels?


Update: Only CNN's international channel is hit by the termination. Its main channel still works.

It might come back with the videos that have the copyright infringement removed. It happened to Lady Gaga's youtube channel too - she uploaded a performance she did in Japan without the station's permission and they shut it down, but then it came back.

For the record, CNNInternational website is still up and running.  I check at least once or twice daily for news out of Eastern Africa (Kenya, Somalia, Sudan, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Uganda, and Tanzania)
