Since we're nearing what is possibly the highest turnout presidential election of our lifetimes, and because debate night's intense flurry of activity here was still too much on the server, it has been given a major upgrade today. The hard drive was swapped out for a SSD, which have significantly faster I/O capabilities, the existing CPU was replaced with dual CPUs with slightly faster clock speed and the RAM was tripled from where we were at last year.

I think it should be able to handle election night without even setting the forum to members only, but if it's still too much, I can always downsize the availability of certain forum features on election night. We'll see how the next debate nights go.

All praise be unto Dave!
