Students shouldn't be charged with anything for bringing porn to school.  If the student brings it out and it ends up causing some kind of disturbance, the student should be punished appropriately within the bounds of the school, but bringing the police into the matter when no one's in any kind of danger at all is just stupid.

That's a bit far. The school should deal with porn harshly, if found out, but no cops should be involved and the school shouldn't conduct searches for porn, either.
