My assumption would be that if a current Senator resigned/left/impeached/expelled and he had placed votes on bills/amendments that were still open for voting, then those votes would be invalid.

In the same way, there is nothing in the OSPR that mentions anything about the bills MAS has introduced.  Are they removed, unless another Senator takes over sponsorship and how long does a Senator have to do this?

There is nothing in the OSPR that mentions either situations.  I'll think about adding some minor clauses that clarify this in the next revision/addition.

Yeah I defintely think this should be cleared up to avoid any legal messes.

If my vote does count I will vote NAY on the amendment.

If people give me alot of flak about this then I'll just let MAS's abstain stand.

Actually, your vote really doesn't matter now. 

It's either 7-3-0 or 7-2-1, which in either case passes the amendment.

But this doesn't mean the situation can't occur in the future.
