What the hell happened to Asian republicans?

Cold War ended. Also, the younger generation of Asians often embraces social liberalism as a form of revolt.

I pretty much agree with this. During the Cold War, many Asians voted GOP due to the party's strong anti-Communism, but after the Cold War ended, many Asians felt the Democrats best protected their social and economic interests.
