Do you support the Second Amendment? Favor more restrictions, repealing them, an outright ban, ect?

As for me, I oppose restrictions on machine guns, short barreled rifles/sawed-off shotguns, so-called "assault weapons," requiring permits to carry concealed handguns. I'm sure I missed many more gun control laws, and I probably oppose those ones too. Smiley

Hmm. I wish I had put that in my post. Smiley

I support Vermont-style laws when it comes to concealed carry.

I agree, although I don't honestly know much about Vermont's laws.

Sigh. Everyone always forgets Alaska. Angry

In Vermont, you apparently don't even need a license to conceal a weapon.  It and Alaska are the two most relaxed states when it comes to guns.

Yippeeeee!!!!! Somebody mentioned Alaska!! Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

More libertarian than right-wing.

Uh, I don't mean to sound like an idiot. Tongue But what is the difference there?

And I dare you to argue that you wouldn't dramatically reduce the number of accidental gun deaths.

My understanding is that they don't happen all that much anyways. At most a couple thousand annually. I read that in 2004 it was around 700 in the U.S.

Accidental deaths as a result of doctor negligance in hospitals is much more costly to human lives then gun accidents.

Yeah I read that too. I wonder how many people die every year cause of doctor negligance.
