Dropping out for Senate, as I'm going to be most likely busy in the next couple months and I can't have a constant stream of bills unlike as a Councilor, I have a decent amount of bills.

Haven't 48 hours already passed?

Elcaspar declared on the morning of October 20th, so 48 hours would be the morning of October 22nd (all times on my timezone, which I have offset from Atlas time)
The election starts at 12:00 AM so 48 hours- equals 10/20

After it is repealed, I am not running for the new Assembly unless I get a drive to serve in office.
