I'd rather see some more battleground polls at this point.

If Biden wins by 8 points, the battleground states aren’t going to matter.

If this is stable, then the closest analogies are Obama 2008 and Bush 1988.

I'm not predicting a Trump collapse from where he is, but he is in no position for an adequate recovery.

Those were open seat races, so I don’t really think they will ever be close analogies.

Probably the closest recent analogy is Carter/Reagan in 1980.  I think the popular vote margin will be similar.
