As I said: no physical violence alleged.

They conducted an unauthorized prayer in a church.

I thought Calles was dead.

This is not revolutionary Mexico, but modern Russia. So, they are being prosecuted on explicit requests of the Church authorities.

In what sense was it unauthorized and why was it a problem?

I'll guess that they offered up a prayer reserved to priests and women aren't allowed to be priests in Orthodox Russia.
