Wish I could say I knew the demographics of Davis' district and how chopped up it was in the last round of redistricting, but I'd say she's safe next year if it includes the non-sexist parts of Arlington and Fort Worth. Even if it doesn't, I'd expect a real GOTV effort that will make her cruise to reelection.
I may be wrong but at some point last night I seem to recall learning she's in a minority-majority district
The question, of course, is if TX will use
Shelby County vs. Holder as justification to slice and dice things in advance of her next election.
