... because of a tie in the Electoral college, or because of a faithless elector, Donald Trump is likely to be re-elected president because 26 states have dispatched a majority of Republicans congressmen to the House of Representatives. Am I right, or is there a fallacy in my thinking?

Yes, that is the only path Trump has, that's why Mccarthy bragged and said Pelosi didn't gain seats like she was supposed to get.

Imagine the election procedure will persist until January; wouldn't that be funny in a very sobering way? 😅

Dems lost control of Iowa’s delegation. If Hagedorn wins then they will lose Minnesota’s delegation.

How probable is a scenario including a faithless elector in favor of Trump?

Trump would win in this scenario and all hell would break loose basically, is my thought.

This could actually cause a civil war. I fear that more than a second Trump term, at this point.

Yeah, I think that violence would erupt in many states independently, nevermind what the state governments would say/do about any of it (CA? WA? OR? NY?).

Luckily, I don't see the 270-268 or 269-269 map as likely at this point.
