I guess I'm rooting for the Padres this year as the underdog market and team of the NL west.

Worst thing about this season is the Red Sox being a WS threat. Best thing is probably the Yankees embarrassing themselves and the dBacks. Not that I have anything against the latter but I like clearly losing teams that aren't the Indians.

Just watched the end of Phillies @ Yankees for the heck of it, but I was DISGUSTED by the initial placement of a runner at second during extra innings. That's pure cheating. It's not about the Yankees winning because I was tuning in for fun and not rooting for or against anyone. It's an insult to the game of baseball to have all these cheat codes still in effect. This is supposed to be professional baseball and they are playing less seriously than many little leaguers.

First and probably last time I'll be tuning in this season.

The Guardians was actually my favorite option for a new name. Glad to see it's not something stupid, hope it works out.

With Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout, it's criminal that the Angels are still a mediocre team.

UrinatingTree has a video about Arte Moreno that might shed some light on the subject, but I haven't watched it yet.

Sad to see the Mariners fall this season. Would've been joyous to see the tears had the Red Sox fallen instead.

I truly loathe one game playoffs, so I'm in favor of the Giants and Rays in the ALDS, although not really interested in having either in the WS. Dunno how much I'm going to watch if at all.

Red Sox and Dodgers deserved to win because Yankees and Cards did not win enough games to earn a Wild Card spot under the pre-2012 system which is the only correct way to have a wild card.

Rays will probably beat Red Sox. I'd like the Giants to beat the Dodgers, and I'd like either the Brewers or Braves to win the NLCS and I'm likely to favor them in the WS.

This is not true; the Red Sox and Yankees had the same record, meaning that they would have had a one-game playoff in Boston under that system also.

Oh. Fair enough then.

Atlanta has such a rich history of coming up short, from the 1990s Braves dynasty that seldom won it all to 28-3, that I think the Astros have a very good chance of winning.
