Where were your parents born and raised?

Where were your parents born and raised.  And how close did you grow up compared to where they grew up?

For me, both my parents were born and raised in Queens a couple miles from each other (mom Richmond Hill, dad Ozone Park).  They moved out to LI a few years after they were married, and I was born and raised about 25 miles from where they were.

Mother: Born Renton, WA, raised briefly in Renton, then Seattle

Father: Born Huntsville, AL, raised as military brat (Cuba, Italy, Maine, Georgia, other exotic locales)
