Bernie Sanders ran a primary campaign EONS ahead of hillary when it came to substance.
Ha.

It's a fact that Hillary ran a very vapid campaign.

Bernie's main policy proposal was a 4 page bill. Clinton had a double digit number of white papers on her website longer than that.

That is again completely incorrect. Why don't you go & read Bernie's platform & policy? Most of his policy had obscure details including CBO, Congressional Research office findings, links to studies & minute details of policy.

Go & study the Democratic Presidential candidates in the last 30-40 years & compared their policies to Bernie. Probably no1 had a stand as detailed as Bernie. Hillary on the other wanted to expand Social Security but didn't say how. Bernie said be abolishing the cap on taxable income.

Go through each policy one by one & compare the two. It is light & day. Hillary's platform & policies were no1 near as detailed as that of Bernie.

Not out of opposition to his policies, but because of his wing of the party's anti-intellectualism.

That is probably not true given Bernie had a huge wave of support from intellectual people, even more than Hillary. Anti-Intellectualism & anti-elitism/anti-corporatism aren't the same thing.

Stiglitz is a Nobel Laureate in Economics, Piketty is a world renowned French economist, Chomsky is a veteran highly acclaimed sort of legendary guy. And I could go on, Jeffery Sachs & range of people. A large share of Bernie's voters were college educated youth.

If you compare the share of voters of Hillary vs Bernie - Bernie's voters were quite educated & intellectual.
