Why did left-leaning journalists/pundits favor hillary so much over bernie?

Media figures tend to be in the elite, wealthy class that Sanders spends so much talking about, or at least are close to those who are.


For example for all of the "ideological diversity" the New York Times claims to celebrate through it's op-ed columnists, there is not columnist who voted for Sanders (Or Trump, for that matter).

Not out of opposition to his policies, but because of his wing of the party's anti-intellectualism.

Interesting that anti-intellectualism is a turn-off to one of the dumbest posters on the forum 🤔
