It will be Chicago, not Hawaii in all likelihood.  And it will be in South Side Chicago.  His post-Presidency will be focused on uplifting black America in a way he felt constrained from doing as President, so it only makes sense to pick that location.

It seems pretty clear now that the Obama Presidential Library will be located in Chicago -and that it will be on the Southside.
