To be honest, i've been watching less franchise films since earlier, and I rarely/almost never visit movie theatres anymore, and this is the reason why. The last film i've seen in a big movie theatre was either Everest or Inside Out in 2015.

I've seen Nerve in 2016 in a big theatre i think too.

I've seen a few independent films in arthouse theatres but that's been a while ago too. The problem is that arthouse theatres have become very predictable in what they'll screen too, so i've kinda given up on theatre viewings.
