That was in the old days, though.  The most recent times I've gone away for a week or more no one made any polls.  I've never announced my departures with a thread the way many posters do, and the forum has grown fat with posters so I don't think I'd be missed by anyone these days.


A week isn't really a long time to be absent, even though some in Hudson NY feel it's long enough to put up an attention whore thread.
