The UCF-Cincinnati game is, um, interesting.  Cincy had UCF punting from their own goal line.  They roughed the punter and gave UCF a first down.  From there UCF marched down the field, but were intercepted on the goal line, with a return to midfield -- where the returner fumbled, and it was apparently recovered by UCF (but I think it will be overturned on review, his knee was down).

Tulane @ Army (normally I'd go with Army as a small home underdog, but I think Tulane is definitely the better team.  It feels very weird to type that.)

About once a decade, Tulane has a team that's fun to watch and root for.

Last night's results:

2-0: Illiniwek, GeorgiaModerate

1-1: dfw, sjoyce, Sunrise, Green Line, Sprouts, Dereich, ExtremeRepublican

0-2: 1184AZ, Jgibson, RINO Tom (didn't pick Friday games)

Tom, you posted picks at 9:18, so you could have included the NM-San Jose game.  It didn't start until 10pm.

A factoid from ESPN's College Game Day that I never realized before: Auburn is the nearest SEC opponent to Florida.  (It's about 35 miles closer to Gainesville than Athens is).

Oklahoma just had to punt on 4th and goal.  They had gotten to 3rd and goal from the 50 (yes, fifty).

Honestly I would have though Auburn was even closer than that.

Don't underestimate the size of the Panhandle. Its a 5 hour drive from Gainesville to the Alabama border.

I have little doubt this has been one of my worst pick 'ems ever even if I feel on top of the world with my sports teams now.

same, I might be hovering around 10 games correct today, just a lot of upsets today. At least I didn't put SMU-Tulsa on here....

SMU came back from a 21 point deficit at the start of the 4th quarter to Tulsa and is now in OT

SMU wins 43-37 in OT to cap off an incredible comeback. They are now 6-0, their best start since 1982, and bowl eligible. Fun Fact: last year SMU lost to Tulsa in their season finale, falling to 5-7 and failing to go bowling.
