What if Mitt Romney never ran for president in 2007- 2008? He instead serves another term as Governor of Massachusetts. His Approval ratings are at 56 percent. in 2016, He decides to run for President. After winning the new Hampshire  primaries, he eventually sweeps the rest. He then chooses Rob Portman from Ohio as his running mate.

On the Democratic side, Joe Biden wins the nomination. At 74 years old, he needs to find a younger running mate. Governor Brian Schweitzer is chosen.

Trivia facts:
President Obama's approval ratings are at  52 percent.
Ron Paul was the GOP nominee for 2012 and lost 347- 191.
The Republican Party took over the senate  but lost the house in 2014
Repubilcans Senate: 51-49  Democratic House: 219- 216
