I hope they do well actually. The new CPC is really just the Alliance.

More like the Mulroney-era PC's minus the Red Tories... and the Quebec Seperatists...

Hmm, doesn't that just leave the Alliance? Most of the Red Tories defected or went to the Progressives? In any case I can't imagine the CPC winning power, they'll never capture enough votes in Ontario or Quebec. They need to move back to the centre.
