New Bayern state election (Oct. 14) poll by INSA for the "Bild":

34% CSU (-14%)
17% Greens (+8%)
14% AfD (+14%)
11% SPD (-10%)
10% FW (+1%)
  6% FDP (+3%)
  4% Left (+2%)
  4% Others (-4%)

Worst results ever for the CSU and the SPD in any Bavaria polling ...
Would FDP be willing to join a CSU government or will they coalition with a possible SPD-green coalition.

They state that 80-85% pass vocational exams and other good tidbits. Good to see the bright future for them and the collapse of the CSU in favor of a greener future.

[...]
Keep in mind that the positive numbers refer to the minority who actually persues vocational training and that this is the result of a concentrated effort by politics, enterprises and schools in an economically prosperous region governed by the CSU.
In fact one could be quite sad that the pragmatic CSU is getting punished and that voters prefer AfD (less integration) or Greens (more uncontrolled immigration means less attention to the single immigrant means less integration).
Most immigrants do want to integrate, as stated here and elsewhere. The lazy colored person schtick is nothing but an excuse to implement austerity. I would have thought the Euros here would have discovered that from being on a US political board, but alas.

No, you can have both: apply the thumbscrews on migrants who decide not to integrate, become criminal or to exploit the welfare state, by deporting them or otherwise crack down hard on them + have no austerity in place (see Austria right now).
Literally all Austria has done is handwringing compiles with banning Turkish in vocational training, further indebting people that would have learned Austrian at a quicker pace if they were financially secure. As I said before, OVP is holding major changes back in a long game.

I wonder, in the effect that SDP gets lower than the threshold, is there still a contingent of moderate conservatives willing to put heat on such transgressions. Or is it more likely that the lukewarm regulations gets repealed after Merkel is not in the picture.

Also it seems like the Bougie folks are getting scared in Bavaria

I got to agree, voters should vote for parties based on principles, like Linke or the Greens

Can someone tell me about the most northern Green win in the south of Hesse (or the county on the left of the close up)?

Part of Frankfurt, includes the Bockenheim borough which is a very strong area for the Greens and will be why they edged it.

Edit: or do you mean Darmstadt? Not sure what you mean by 'the south of Hesse'.
Light green county to the left in the closeup. Or yes, Darmstadt.

This poll just came in:https://www.reuters.com/article/us-germany-politics/just-over-half-of-germans-think-the-spd-should-bail-on-merkel-poll-idUSKCN1N51CT

Why does the SPD align itself with the CDU still. It has only caused left factions, and some right, to leave in droves.
