I never read the Left Behind books, but based on the reviews I read that were written mostly to roast them: The main villain was the Secretary General of the UN, and a former Prime Minister of Romania. The Pope did join up in his new religion of the totalitarian state he established, but that's because that Pope was appointed after the Rapture, and the initial Pope was raptured.

None of which of course has anything to do with anything in the Bible.

What I found most amusing about the Left Behind Antichrist was the guy's name. Nicolae Jetty Carpathia. Nicolae. Jetty. Carpathia. It's the sort of name you'd expect to see in a Gundam series.

His middle name was "Jetty"? I get that "Nicolae" was asssumedly unoriginally derived from Ceaucescu, and Carpathia... again very unoriginal, but Jetty? What is that?!

I don't know what pistachio pudding is, but it sounds intriguing. Also sort of sounds like something my people would make, but with a shit ton of rose water mixed in.

Good God, that's truly awful. Absolutely awful. I'm sorry you have to see that.

Peach Jell-O works perfectly in our classic mango mousse, however.

It's doubtful Bushie will either, in spite of what he says his plans are.  Once he watches the Kiribati clock change at 4am, he'll already have started focusing on Easter.

If I can make a recommendation, though, Bushie should try methamphetamine if he has trouble staying awake.

Not to hate on Pacific Islanders, but by what metric is Kiribati "civilized?" It's a very poor, remote nation. If I wanted to exclude those people I would start with New Zealand. It's the easternmost developed nation. Or does "civilized" merely mean majority Christian? Will ODF be abstaining from celebrating the New Year with the Japanese because they are destined to spend eternity in an agonizing lake of fire?

Perhaps Bushie knows people who have been on 'missions' to (the already overwhelmingly Christian people of) Kiribati. Although I'm not sure if that would make a country more civilized by his definition or less.

Jeff would give the Japanese the Mr. Garrison South Park Christmas Special treatment.

"Now I heard that in Japan,
Everyone just lives in sin.
They pray to several gods
And put needles in their skin.

On December twenty-fifth
All they do is eat a cake.
And that's why I'll go to Japan
And walk around and say...

Hey there, Mr. Shintoist!
Merry #$%@ing Christmas!
God is gonna kick your @$$,
You infidelic pagan scum!

In case you haven't noticed,
There's festive things to do.
So let's all rejoice for Jesus and
Merry @#$%ing Christmas to you!"
