Yeah there is no way Bolton could get confirmed. All it would take is 3 Republicans to flip over and I can't see Collins, Flake, Paul, etc confirming Bolton. Corker on the other had would get though easily.

I don't know why Giuliani wouldn't be confirmed.  A Republican Senate isn't going to confirm Giuliani?  Why not?

All it would take is 3 GOP defectors.

Giuliani took money from Qatar, Venezuela, Iranian exiles: His foreign clientele could present conflicts of interest as secretary of state.

With Paul opposing both Bolton and Giuliani, would be hard to see either get out of the committee.

The “Sessions for AG” buzz seems to be building as “Sessions for Sec. of Defense” buzz dies down:

Miller is the only one of those that I think will get an easy confirmation.

Sessions and especially Giuliani could easily fail in the Senate; Flynn too if that office requires Senate confirmation.

NSA is a direct hire of the President, no need for confirmation.

Fox has confirmed:

Sessions for AG, Pompeo for CIA and Flynn for National Security Adviser
https://mobile.twitter.com/ChrisSnyderFox/status/799600045804888065

I could possibly see Sessions getting blocked (depends on the make up of the Judiciary Committee), Pompeo probably gets through relatively easy, and Flynn doesn't need to be confirmed.

I can dig Mattis, a bit too hawkish when it comes to Iran, but strikes a good balance when it comes to Israel. Also he is very anti-torture, which is very good considering some of Trump's past statements. Probably the best Trump appointment so far, which is not saying much.

Interesting enough, James Mattis is the one Trump appointment who could be filibustered.

Cong Andy Harris (R-MD), a physician, is being considered by PEOTUS Trump to lead the National Institutes of Health.

This would be awful for Marijuana policy.

For someone who think's he's smarter than the generals, he certainly likes him in his cabinet/inner circle.
