I tried to tell you what was going on.  I really tried.  This looks like a landslide, folks.

I will now accept my accolades.

Yeah plus 6 is a real landslide.

It was part of the joke. All the other lines are accurate though. Smiley

Btw, if he really is leading by 6 now even after the new sexual assault accusations, expect that margin to grow in the coming weeks. Double digits is looking plausible again, especially if Trump stands behind him.

Why? The opposite of that happened with Akin.

Ancient history. It still mattered in 2012 when you were disavowed by your entire party and presidential nominee. No longer. Also, Alabama is not Missouri.

I still think it will be single digits for now, but if Trump stands behind Moore (apparently there's a rumor he's going to, not sure how credible it is), all bets are off, and I'm throwing down on double digits.

You can accept a place on my ignore list now. This shtick is annoying.

Edit: Anyway, polling has been all over the place. Definitely movement in Jones direction though.

You can ignore my "schtick", but unfortunately you will not be able to ignore the Alabama voters on December 12th...

Disgusting. Hopefully Jones can make up some ground as more information comes out to back up the Moore stories. The media partially brought it upon themselves that many conservatives don't believe them when something they say is really true though, it's a boy who cried wolf situation.

*Roy Moore elected with 55% of the vote* This is actually the media's fault that this happened, not the voters.

Roll Eyes

People are always looking for anyone or anything to blame other than the voters themselves. Just look at how many nerves you strike when you point out this fact.

Alabama voters are grown adults, not children. They know right from wrong. If they want to elect a pedophile and sexual assaulter, it's all on them. Stop trying to shift responsibility or blame.

Interesting. Sadly, if Moore wins, the state of Alabama will look foolish. Oh well.

..Alabama's looked foolish for quite some time now; this will just reinforce its status as the most deplorable state in the nation. I mean, let's face it: Channing Tatum is the only good thing that's come out of that state. Smiley

The silver lining in all of this is that once the good God-fearing Christian crusaders of Alabama elect a child molester to the United States Senate, it should forever discredit the Religious Right and be the final nail in their coffin.

Defenders will just say it's because they believe abortion is murder, and blah blah blah. Of course AL would still vote for Moore even if the Democrat was pro-life, but I expect the abortion thing to be the excuse used.
I disagree, I think a pro-life Democrat would be ahead by double digits against Moore right now. all it really takes for a Democrat to be elected in Alabama (versus a terrible Republican candidate) is for them to embrace the 2nd Amendment and be very pro-life.
