Can anyone explain the process for selecting delegates in MO?

It looks like it won't be a single day affair.  Will we have any idea of who gets how many in March?

You know I have a thread for this, right? Wink

It's a caucus in the same vein as Iowa, except it's spread out over the course of a bit over a week.  Most of the state caucuses on March 17, except the city of St. Louis and Jackson County, which caucus on the 24th.

The delegates themselves, as in most Iowa-style caucuses, aren't elected until later rounds of conventions, in April and June.  One interesting note is that the At-Large delegates are elected by slates, so unless a compromise slate is drawn up, one candidate is likely to get all the At-Large delegates, and tactical voting at the conventions will be very important.

Presumably, caucus results will be reported on March 24, and we should be able to make some sort of delegate projection then (and the media certainly will), but we won't know for certain the results of the State Convention until it happens, on June 2.

The same applies to most caucus states...we won't know the final delegate distribution from Iowa until June 16!

That is basically what I was looking for, a rough count.
