https://www.healthcare.gov/

Already 1 million people have visited the site today. In fact, traffic seems to be higher than expected leading to some opening day glitches.

Meanwhile, House GOP has now voted 46 times to repeal Obamacare and replace it with nothing.

Because the healthcare will keep you around longer to torment them?

Fortunately they were never going to exist anyway.

When they wait longer for worse care given by a shrinking number of doctors, I will feel incredibly guilty.

Forget the shrinking number of doctors, I tried to select security questions from my account sign up on the site and it gave me no options so I can't complete the registration.

They should have a Facebook connect button.

things that are important to CTRattlesnake: not having to wait slightly longer to see a doctor
things that are not important to CTRattlesnake: poor people also getting to see that doctor at some point

Okay, if I enter in three random words despite no questions tied to them, it will accept my registration.  I don't know if most people will be able to figure that out, however.

It needs to be fixed ASAP.

Youre a moron. You really are.

I am training at medical school currently, my father has been in practice for over 30 years, and his father was a doctor before he came to this country.

Do you have any clue how many times doctors give free care away? My father has worked in some of the poorest sections of the city and has literally worked for free for years. Doctors are good people who got into the business trying to help everyone, regardless of money. Government has been destroying medicine in this country for decades, and this is no different. Your 'poor people' argument doesnt fly because it doesnt exist outside of extreme cases. All this bill will do, and has already done, is prevent people from going into medicine, force doctors to give poor care due to cuts, and ultimately end up destroying the system as we know it.

And now they'll get paid for it.

Ah, so the solution to the 45 million uninsured Americans is to just trust doctors to give them healthcare for free. Literally libertarian fairy dust logic.

Googling "Mississippi exchange" leads to a bunch of fake sites instead of healthcare.gov.  This needs to be fixed.

Of course, every new Apple release is super glitchy on launch day, and everyone forgives them, so hopefully this will be the same.

Just because you've never come into contact with those people doesn't mean they don't exist, obviously.

I apologize to my children and grandchildren in advance

That might be premature since producing children at the very least requires venturing from your mother's basement and talking to women.

That worries you?  Good lord man your poverty stricken descendants wouldn't even have access to a nurse without socialized medicine.  Or are you rich?

I don't think Mississippi is participating, Harry:

The lack of Medicaid expansion only hurts the poors who can't afford even subsidized private insurance.  The exchanges are a federal program and so people in red states will still have access to them.

Health Exchanges Debut With Websites Down, Delays

Typical of government IT project.  Of course the Romney 2012 Orca project was not better.

Opebo, the federal government has set up exchanges for the 36 states who didn't create their own.

I see.  So essentially the people who really need help won't be helped.
