Just how is "Stop And Frisk" libertarian?  Or are you trying to wrongly turn "libertarian" into a synonym for right-wing just as "liberal" has wrongly become synonymous with left-wing in this country?

Apparently libertarian has come to mean anything people on the left (or statist pubs) happen to not like. So I am just adapting to the times. For instance, I suppose this topic headline could also work had I made a thread on it: "Libertarian City of Chicago Attempts to Salvation Army Trucks Feeding the Homeless".

thank you Mr. Officer Great, for all the things you said to me, for all the good that you have ever done
without you, what would I be, all the gas upon my flames, my love and rage all rolled up into one
for everytime your gun goes off, a new rebel is born.
so when there's 41 bullets, there's 41 thousand thorns in your side

Stop and frisk is not libertarian, even though libertarianism is to the right what anarchism is to the left.

lol at people taking the thread title seriously. But for the record, I am happy that this seems to be raising awareness on what is not libertarianism.

"Libertarian Stop and Frisk" would be being stopped and frisked when entering private establishments, such as businesses and places of employment. Would you rather be stopped and frisked by a police officer, or by a mall cop? The answer might be a somewhat accurate indicator of one's worldview.

Of course Bloomberg said he's very upset with all of this.

What a joke. This stop and frisk is awful, and will only lead to worse things in the future.

Today the citizens of New York are freerer.

I expect Bill O Reilly to blow a gasket of this.

In other news, the socialist right to work laws were repealed as were the fascist civil liberties laws.

But on private property a libertarian would be ok with owners having stop and frisk policies on patrons and a repeal of all renters rights laws preventing entry.
