Majority Leader would be far more appropriate than PPT for Senate.

I really want to know who the people are that don't know who the President is. I'm imagining meeting some Monty Python-esque Hermit in the woods or something.

Hugh is definatley overestimating his fellow Australians. No way do one-in-five know who Steven Harper is.

In Sweden the foreign leaders an average person know would be Obama, Merkel, Berlusconi, and Stoltenberg. (Stoltenberg only due to the Utöya massacre) possibly Sarkozy and Tarja Halonen. Most people would probably think Blair is still British PM and Putin is Russian President. (They're not that off on Putin)

EDIT: Damit Polnut beat me.

-the President of Mexico 10% (there are many Mexicans in the US)
-the King of Saudi Arabia 0.5%

Kids with autism that have politics as their interest and kids that follow politics are the exception to your question.
