Very proud of it, actually. Took me quite a long time to craft that amazing response.

Have to admit, that seems like a weird idea.

Putting an apple in a fridge is a sure way to ruin it. Townies are weird.

Yes, I'm from the Bad Place and I saw all sorts putting apples in the fridge all my life.  I don't know why but I always hated the idea.  Admittedly I don't like fruit of any kind (I take that back, I like Dole Mandarin Oranges in a Light Syrup), but refrigerated fresh fruit always rubbed me the wrong way.

Since it's Bushie, there's a good chance that the "apple" he'd get would be pre-cored and sliced for "convenience" at the store.
I feel pretty confident that this is how Bushie prefers his apples.

Mandarin oranges are the best, I used to eat a whole can every day after I came home from school.

Seems weird to me as well.  I have to admit I've never eaten a refrigerator apple.  We put ours in the fruit bowl on the table with the bananas and oranges and mangoes.  That's the way my immediate family did it when I was growing up, and it is all I can ever remember.  Even at hotels and guesthouses I've never seen refrigerated apples.  Still, judging by the responses it seems that many people on this forum do put their apples in the refrigerator.  I had no idea so many people stored apples in a refrigerator.

Then again, I'd also never heard of National Prayer Day till I started to post here.  Lots of weirdness on this forum, to be sure.

I don't think it's a class thing at all. I also refrigerate my apples, because I like the taste better when they're cold.
