Which ideological foreign policy viewpoint will win Americans' minds and hearts in the long run in the 21st century, John Bolton's neoconservatism Kristolist-Cheneyite foreign policy, or Tulsi Gabbard's new post-Middle East regime change brand of soft isolationism?

Both are crankish zealotry with next to no mass constituency. 8/10 trolling, would respond again.

Boltonism is unsustainable in the long term, so Gabbardism.

Bolton.

This country is too bloodthirsty, cowardly, and egocentric for anything else. The lessons of 'Nam to be learned were interrupted by a hostage situation and none have gone back to school since.

Boltonism is unsustainable in the long term, so Gabbardism.

This, if I had to choose between the two.  Americans are getting weary of endless involvements that result in no improvement in any criteria Americans judge foreign policy on.

Don't worry, some kind of crisis always comes to shake things up before that lesson can be learned!

Hot take: Boltonism and Gabbardism are two sides of the same coin as both rely on the false premise that the US only has a choice between hard power and non-interventionism.

Boltonism looks like botulism, and I feel that about sums up his impact on the world.
