Thank god most people can see through their shenanigans, as evidenced by the latest polls that show a plurality of Americans believing the GOP congress is purposely sabotaging the economy. I guess they thought they could pull the wool over our eyes, and they probably figured it worked after the 2010 midterms, but I have a feeling it will backfire spectacularly this year.
If Obama is trying to pull a Truman, I'd say he's got the perfect congress for it, at least in the House. The stupidity, ineptitude, and recklessness will be the perfect foil for him.
