Booker is an intelligent, young, up-and-coming Senator. Heck, his baldness could be seen as cool. As for Ford there was an infamous ad in the 2006 Senate election with the sub text that he was cavorting around with white women. That recent biography of Obama (which is gaining dust on my shelf) said he too recognized that being married to a white woman would be a political liability. Given
his history I would've almost expected him to settle down with a nice Jewish girl.
Any claims about fitness would be abrogated when faced with Donald Trump, either way.
