The problem is what it means to be right-wing has changed dramatically.  It never used to include religion and it used to be all about being "non-interventionalist".  It is supposed to be in favor of free trade and free markets, but some people have twisted it to mean "support the big money companies at the expense of the little guy".

Ron Paul is absolutely right, this is not the same Republican Party it used to be.
