I doubt anything could be more humiliating for Susan Hayward that appearing in the 1938 film Girls on Probation, starring Ronald Reagan, among others.

On the other hand, Girls on Probation probably didn't feature anyone in yellowface, right?

You seem to be operating under the false impression that Howard Hughes spent much money on makeup. Other than maybe some fake facial hair, it's clear he didn't.
