The treaty is largely irrelevant (Russia is not going to launch nukes, period), but it saves a  bit of money, so go for it!

Well, Lugar's real problem is that he apparently will vote for the Dream Act. If he does, he is going to be primaried. Someone should send him a memo.

I think this treaty is irrelevant.  Who cares about Russia's nukes?  The chances that they will use them are zero. I'd rather talk about public employee unions, myself.

Badg, I don't think reducing the number of nukes has much to do with reducing the odds of purloinment of that which should not be purloined. The big advantage of the treaty is that it might save a few bucks in maintenance. And that is a good thing. We're broke.
