Her first name is actually Belcalis. She goes by Cardi, because her sister's name is Hennessy (alcoholic beverage) and she got the nickname Bacardi.

I love her new album. Pretty cool how interested she is in politics. Smiley

This. I don't agree with her on everything, but it is good that she is paying attention to politics as a singer.
