Uhh...it's your party that doesn't want to vote for a Mormon. Maybe you guys should work on that. And I'm not totally convinced they are comfortable voting for a black, but at least he's a Christian!

Right because we all know that Obama is leading Romney in the heart of Dixie. Last time I checked, Romney comfortably beats Obama in Alabama, leads him in Virginia, South Carolina, and so on. It's more of a culture issue than religious. Southerners will vote for Romney in the general election, but are supportive of people like Perry, Cain, Gingrich, and Palin because they are a better culturally fit for the region, not because of bigotry. I'm sure there are a few people that would never vote for Romney because of his religion, but they certainly aren't the majority in the South.
