Now, the Serbs are (at first inadvertently to be sure) basically responsible for more human suffering that any group of people in the last 100 years. 

So, someone, help me understand why I should care for these people, instead of thinking they deserve to be bombed into the stone age.

Well, first you need to stop the irrational and false statements.

Since you established the period of "the last  years," let me suggest some examples:

1.  Mao Tse-Tung
2.  Joseph Stalin
3.  Adolf Hitler
4.  Pol Pot

And without the Serbs causing WWI you don't get any of those guys.

Well now, lets look at that "reply" carefully.

First, if you exclude everything that happened from 1914 to present, you've elminated almost all the 100 years. 

Second, I do not know, and I suspect neither do you, what would have happened if World War I had not occured.

Third, unlike you, I do not blame a nationality for the acts of certain individuals.

Dems need to chill out. McCain gets incredibly good press coverage and they totally give him a free pass on the issues.

No one (from either party) gets more of a free pass from the media than John McCain. You Republicans should be celebrating that he's the nominee. The media is going to be extremely favorable to you.

I have never seen any other politician get a complete free pass like he does.

The guy has always gotten a completely free pass from the media, and I expect that to continue.

Obama will have a tough fight, I'm sure the media will repeat every right-wing smear ad naseum over the next 7 months.

The media will do everything they can to make sure McCain is our next president, no surprise there.
