This is about as rigged and shambolic as it can be, even Putin-style elections are fairer.

Why the hell do people boycott elections? The boycotters here are even more idiotic than the Maudro voters, they've just thrown away a technically winnable election  GO OUT AND VOTE PEOPLE, BOYCOTTS MEAN NOTHING!

That would make sense if the election was actually fair, but it isn't.

The main opposition party was banned, the candidates allowed into the election (that are not Maduro) are all Chavistas or former Chavistas (even Falcon), there's widespread bribery, violence, fraud and any electoral law violation necessary to the regime, the National Electoral Council is staffed with Maduro loyalists and the list just goes on and on. And that without accounting for the fact that the actual result is irrelevant considering that Maduro has no plans to relinquish power.

Why should they legitimize a fraudulent election by showing up to the polls if the results are going to be made up no matter what?
