He's beginning to consistently hit 60% disapproval in polls.

Yup. It would be fun to watch if his approvals go into the 20s or even the 10s. Just imagine the 10s.

Btw, anybody noted that he isn't tweeting about polls anymore? Sad!

NBC/WSJ poll of 438 "Trump counties" that either flipped from D to R in 2016 or saw a significant surge to Trump.  Overall, he won these counties 57%-37%.

32% say the country is better off since Trump became President.  41% say it's worse off.

Trump's approval in these counties is 48/50.  In a similar poll in July, it was 50/46.

Other favorability ratings in these counties:

Barack Obama 48/37
Bernie Sanders 42/31
Hillary Clinton 23/60
Nancy Pelosi 16/44
Mitch McConnell 11/35

I'm surprised he hasn't dropped more in these counties.  Am I worrying over nothing?

Interesting that McConnell has (obviously) such low name rec.

I'm not sure why Morning Consult is always so favorable for Trump. The worst I think they've ever been for him is -10.

Yes, they've been generally R-friendly.  Perhaps it's their weighting.

Yup, although Rassy is also terrible.

Where have all the Gallup polls gone? Much more credible than Rassy.

The recent FBI feud will bring him down to 37% again.

Honestly, with that average approval map of 2017, I see the door open for reelection.

Politico/Morning Consult:

Approve 45 (-2)
Disapprove 51 (+4)

Source

There sample this week only voted for Trump 38-35, rather than last week's 39-32.

Looks like the tax bill does have an effect. I don't like to say it, and it's very early, but with these numbers, reelection is not off the table.
