Watching it live right now, just happened to turn on CNN World when I got back to the hotel.  I also watched some of the Ghanan President's speech.

It's interesting.  They have a giant banner held in their legislature building that looks like the infamous"Mission Accomplished" sign but says something like "Together, Yes We Can" I have a hard enough time figuring out what time it is here in Asia though, no clue what the hell time it is in Western Africa.

Obama's talking about how, despite being responsible for a negative history, the West isn't responsible for Zimbabwe's self destruction or child soldiers or some of the corruption.  Pointed out that Kenya had a higher GDP per capita than South Korea when he was born, stuff like that, some platitudes too.

Eh.

I think there's a blog post about it on one of your news sources.

Hard to identify Bush haters when they're 70% of the population Tongue

But my "respek" came from the fact that despite his efforts, I doubt Bush is a very popular person to name drop internationally nor someone particularly popular back home, so it was just straight up giving credit where credit is due
