Bill Clinton's favorable rating has also tightened now he's seen under an increasingly partisan lens. He's at 59-38, which is roughly back to where he was at this point in 2007.

I know a lot of Republican candidates that would kill for 50% favorability ratings.

Her favorables are down nearly 10% from last year. Her unfavorables spiked 4% from last month.  Interesting thread title.

The reason why Republicans never have 50%+ ratings is simple - many conservatives are dissatisfied with how they are thrown overboard on a routine basis by GOP candidates. Democrats unite behind their own very easily, because there isn't much infighting within the party these days, minus the trade thing

Interesting, only 56% of women view her favorably and Obama won women by 55-44 in 2012. I think in the end Hilary won't do much better among women voters than Obama.

Favorable and voting for are going to be two different things in this cycle. I'm going to bank that GOP primaries will be such a mess that there will be plenty of people voting against the GOP candidate even if they don't like Hillary.

Her favorables are down because she's running. The reason she wasn't at 90% disapproval from the GOP was that they were still in, "We could have worked with Hillary, but Obama is terrible!" mode.

wow talk about lack of integrity and dishonesty. The Gallup headline is 180 degrees opposite of the headline you wrote.

What this shows is that right now Hillary is trending a point or two below Obama in 2012. I have predicted Hillary would win, but by less than Obama. The 2016 election will be closer than 2012, with the Dems winning 3-6 Senate seats and probably 10 House seats.

I see OH going Hillary along with VA, but NC staying GOP, FL, CO and IA too close to call. Id Cbet IA for Hillary but CO going GOP and FL going GOP if Rubio is on the ticket.
