If the Tories had any sense, they'd go for Theresa May or someone responsible looking. Boris has big-love in the London media, but he turns off as many voters as he attracts.

In the event of a Labour majority in May, Johnson would become Tory leader. If it's a Labour-led minority/coalition, then a more unifying figure such as May or Hammond would become Tory leader. And if it's another Tory government of any kind, Cameron would obviously remain leader.
