No baggage. A presidential ticket with New Mexico Senator Martin Heinrich and former Missouri Secretary of State Jason Kander would be a baggageless, smart ticket. Yes, two white males is probably not what the Democrats want in today's identity politics era, but they would be formidable against President Donald Trump.

Elizabeth Warren? Too much baggage and a Northeastern liberal.
Joe Biden? Has his time past as former VP?

Heinrich/Kander could be the choice.

A democratic ticket without a female on it would be a terrible decision and likely depress turnout when females have been pivotal in the elections since 2016.  And don't tell me "I don't care about gender; I just want the two best candidates for the job" and then suggest such a weak ticket like this (no-name Senator who hasn't been able to build a national profile and a no-job Democrat who only has his national profile going for him).  Especially when the Democratic bench has a plethora of strong, capable and talented females all in contention.

McCaskill?

Yes, I'm sure the Dems will want her on the ticket after Hawley beats her by 5 to 8 Percent.

I think McCaskill wins by 5. However, McCaskill/Heinrich or Heinrich/McCaskill would be good.
