Hope this ends in failure; we don't this sleazybag in Europe. To be a strong voice on the world stage, prosper economically and protect a liberal society and civil liberties, we need to strenghten (and improve) the European Union, not destroy it.

What does this guy bring to the table that our far-right parties do not have or do already ? This guy is totally superfluous here in Europe.

FFS, European rags still think Bannon is in any way, shape or form relevant? Quit giving this guy the kind of attention he neither deserves nor warrant.

Exactly. If anything the US far right is following in the foot steps of its European counterparts who began embracing "economic nationalism" and "welfare chauvinism" long before people in the Alt-Right started calling for universal health care for Whites only.

I don't necessarily oppose this idea, but Bannon is too much of an attention whore to keep a low profile, and associating oneself with him as a party is going to hurt you domestically in a European context, where Trump is unpopular and Bannon, if at all known, is viewed as a far-right wacko by the general public, in a different way than "our own" ones. So it's probably going nowhere.
