It was very tough to win this seat as a republican. Its an open seat against a strong dem candidate in a state trump barely won in a D+8.5 environment.

That's another terrible excuse. This is Arizona, not Colorado. Democrats hasn't won a Senate seat in Arizona in 30 years.

That’s like saying Democrats should have won WV-SEN 2014 because at that point a Republican hadn’t won a Senate race in WV since 1956.

Honestly, if Shelley Moore Capito attempted to make the jump for Senate in 2010, she probably would have defeated Joe Manchin.

This

Also John Raese could have won, he was leading in polls, quite late in the race, but he was a terrible candidate and campaigned

Also Moore Capito should have ran against Manchin, it's not like Tennant was going to win in 2014 against really anyone

“Sinema has represented a Congressional District wholly contained within Maricopa County, which is over 60% of the general election electorate.”

This is hilarious. Sinema also represented a congressional district wholly contained within Arizona, which is 100% of the general election electorate - she was clearly bound to win from the start.
